Mixed Reality / Augmented Reality
With mixed reality devices the user is enabled to see the real world and elements of a virtual world in one time. The displays also can present additional information in overlay to the real world. Tracking components are needed.

Virtual Reality (VR)
Displays for virtual reality are immersing the user into the artificial world of computers.

Mixed Reality / Augmented Reality

See some sample setup here

ARvision-3D
ARvision-3D is a stereoscopic video see-through binocular display. This full stereoscopic Video-See-Through head mounted display is available in two different versions:

Both versions offer two separate color cameras (progressive scan if needed) with output signals in PAL/NTSC (optional VGA, USB 2.0 progressive scan, 48fps bayerpattern). The signals can be augmented by a PC and viewed together as virtual image inside the glasses. The parallax-plane (convergence) of cameras is manually adjustable to have realistic 3D-effects in different working distances.

ARvision-S
ARvision-S is a stereoscopic video see-through binocular display. These Video-See-Through devices offer stereoscopic displays and one single color camera (monoscopic, progressive scan if needed) with output signals in PAL/NTSC (optional VGA, USB 2.0 progressive scan, 48fps bayerpattern) in

The camera signals can be used for video-tracking or can be superimposed by a stereoscopic virtual PC image.

ARvision
ARvision is a monoscopic video see-through binocular display. This monoscopic but binocular Video-See-Through display is available in two different versions:

Both versions offer a color camera (progressive scan if needed) with output signals in PAL/NTSC (optional VGA, USB 2.0 progressive scan, 48fps bayerpattern). The signals can be augmented by a PC and viewed together as virtual image inside the glasses. Find an example here: www.shared-reality.com

AR-Bino
The ARbino-3D is a digital hand held binocular that allows experiencing 3D data visualization. The full stereoscopic augmented reality handheld binoculars are based on a 30° FOV near-the-eye optic together with stereoscopic color cameras for video see-through. See more details here.

Monocular M3
The monocular head mounted displays M3 are focused on mobile applications as portable monitor, personal display and in the field of multimedia and telemedicine. The latest development M3 has the option for optical-see-through capabilities. There are three interface options:
  • DVI-D (digital only), see specs
  • LVDS for wearable PCs
  • VGA (coming soon)

Monocular M3-maintenance
This monocular head mounted displays offers a detachable USB 2.0 camera and is focused on mobile applications such as maintenance tasks. It has the option to look through (optical-see-through). There are three interface options:
  • DVI-D (digital only), see specs
  • LVDS for wearable PCs
  • VGA (coming soon)

Monocular M3-tracking
This monocular is based on the popular M3 head mounted display and has a PAL tracking camera in lipstick format attached. This camera can be used for tracking in AR applications. The HMD has the option for optical-see-through capabilities. There are three interface options:
  • DVI-D (digital only), see specs
  • LVDS for wearable PCs
  • VGA (coming soon)

Optical-See-Through
